Grainger Sales Effectiveness for Global Exports

During my time at Grainger, I was responsible for the sales performance and success of the Global Export Division. Held direct strategic planning for APAC, EMEA, & LATAM. The combined revenue includes E-commerce and annual sales of over $67 mill. Accountable for improvement, performance, and development of the international sales team, with the added challenge of increasing sales through organizational restructuring, account optimization, and territory design.

The methodology of the effective selling process, that I implemented was the framework used for other governing territories. Consequently, allowing me the opportunity to lead the project and support the change management process.

The sales effectiveness methodology that I implement, includes driving growth in a virtual world. This includes leveraging CRM platforms and mobile solutions to implement and measure adoption, performance through analytics. Meanwhile, leveraging LMS and Salesforce.com to support remote and customized learning, The strategy implemented resulted in a growth of 3.7%.

As a Salesforce administrator, I was also responsible for onboarding new hires, customizing their training, creating dashboards, and analytics that measures the sales pipeline, life cycle, and effective selling processes. Larger commercial projects include managing system integration and all systems updates for CRM & Mobile Solutions.

Sears Holdings National Sales Effectiveness Manager

At Sears Holdings, I was responsible for the sales effectiveness of consultative sales teams in 700 stores throughout the U.S. with annual hard-lines business unit sales of over $7 bill in revenue.   I redefined the customer experience at Sears Holdings through the launch of "M.F.E Today" an interactive and persuasive learning platform. The goal was to bring training & resources together that would support both leaders and the sales team. As a result, this increased end-user productivity by 23%

In addition, I planned and directed the programs that align content with product knowledge while reinforcing positive selling behaviors.  The size and scope of the programs range from small curriculum-based training to the larger trade show presentations that will be hosted throughout the U.S.  During my tenure, I have successfully directed over 150 venues per year with a budget ranging from $500,000 to $800,000 per business unit.  Resulting in an average ROI of 140%, adding $2.8 mill, in margin revenue for Sears.  I accomplished these results while working cross-functionally within the organization and building strong working relationships including internal and external stakeholders.  

IKEA U.S. Sales Manager

Prior to Sears Holdings, I was a sales manager for IKEA U.S.  During my tenure, I was given the challenge to create the framework necessary to manage the launch of "IKEA Kitchen Design & Remodel Services", affecting 37 stores across the U.S. This successful strategy is still in use today.
