Leadership A few things I have learned while leading others...
Coaching & mentoring is critical for the growth of others. Set some creative time aside to plan the strategy. Include your team in the creative session. Lead by example and have fun doing it! Keep things simple, and remember, effective communication should start a conversation.
Key drivers of my leadership: Inspire others to grow within their own roles Communicate expectations of them and be clear about what they can expect from you. Listen when they describe what is "working and not working". Create an action plan that is achievable. Recognize when performance is high. Mentor when performance is low. Trust in the ability of others. Lastly, build a family, not just a team.
